“Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku” ONA begins

Lucky Star fans, there’s a new spinoff short airing online this season.

Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku

Please Note: The main characters are the ones on the serving plates!

Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku, or roughly translated as “The Empty Stomach of the Miyakawa Family.”

It’s about sisters struggling to live with what little money they have since one of them is a compulsive anime goods buyer. They are so poor that they couldn’t afford an ending credits song in the first episode!¬† “Just how poor is this anime?” one of them states.

More of the same old jokes and gags as is its slice of life parent, this time done by a studio that is not KyoAni and shortened to about three minutes per episode. Kinda feels like how Luck Star was supposed to be.

I hope we’ll see returning characters/cameos from the main series!
